Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teaches you how to pay attention to the present moment with greater awareness and less judgment. When we’re stressed, our minds often get caught in worrying about the future or replaying the past. Mindfulness helps us notice these patterns and respond more calmly instead of reacting automatically. During sessions, we may use simple mindfulness exercises, breathing techniques, or body awareness practices that you can also use in everyday life. The goal isn’t to eliminate difficult thoughts or emotions but to change your relationship with them. Many people find that mindfulness helps them feel calmer, more grounded, and better able to cope with life’s challenges. It can be particularly helpful for chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, sleep difficulties, and improving overall emotional wellbeing.
