Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy explores the deeper patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others. These patterns, called schemas, often develop early in life and can continue to influence us in adulthood without us realizing it. For example, someone may constantly fear rejection, feel they are “not good enough,” or put everyone else’s needs before their own. Schema Therapy helps you understand where these patterns come from and why they keep repeating. Together, we work on changing these deeply rooted beliefs while developing healthier ways of coping and relating to yourself. This approach combines insight with practical techniques and a compassionate therapeutic relationship. It is especially helpful for long-standing difficulties such as low self-esteem, relationship problems, people-pleasing, perfectionism and patterns that seem to repeat despite your best efforts to change them.
