1. Therapist’s Professional Duties and Limitations
The therapist is committed to providing professional, ethical, and confidential therapy. The therapist’s role is to support the client in enhancing self-awareness, addressing mental health challenges, and facilitating personal growth through the use of Grief Recovery Method ®, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Coaching techniques.
However, the following limitations apply:
- Emergency services are not provided. In case of an emergency, clients are advised to contact local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital.
- Specific outcomes from therapy cannot be guaranteed, as progress depends on various factors, including the client’s participation and the nature of the issues being addressed.
- The therapist does not prescribe medication. If medication is required, the client will be referred to a qualified medical professional.
- If the client’s needs fall outside the therapist’s area of expertise, the therapist is obligated to refer the client to a specially trained colleague for further assistance.

- Receive information about their therapy, including techniques used, goals, and progress.

3. Confidentiality
Privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance. All matters discussed in sessions, as well as any records kept, will remain confidential, with the following exceptions:
- If the client discloses intentions to harm themselves or others, the therapist is legally obligated to take steps to ensure safety, which may include breaking confidentiality.
- If there is suspicion or evidence of abuse or neglect involving a minor, elderly person, or vulnerable adult, the therapist is required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities.

Sessions are privately paid and not covered by national health insurance, though some private insurers may offer coverage (please check with your provider if needed).
Kindly provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling; otherwise, the full session fee will apply. (In cases of emergency cancellation, rescheduling may be offered at the therapist’s discretion.)
